A very nice er sent me the following message about this item:
Hello, I thought I\'d let you know this represents the start of the Sabbath celebration in a Jewish home. The woman of the house lights the candles, then gestures the light toward her eyes. The inscription is in Hebrew and says Shalom (peace).
Inside Tapestry lines it is 12 x 16 inches outside is 16 x 20- Very good condition. nicely done, soft and silky feel. I am calling this needle punch, I do not know if that is the correct term. Has rusty marks from nails from being in a frame but not on the tapestry.
