Payá is one of the oldest manufacturers of Tin-Toy in the world. Already in 1902 Rafael Paya, a local blacksmith in Ibi, Alicante-Spain, made iron and tin toys. In 1906, his three sons founded Hermañoz Payá (Brothers Payá), and it became one of the largest producers of toy toys. Due to the indisposition of the civil war in Spain and the Second World War, Paya ceased production in 1940. In general, Paya manufactured small 2000 different toy models, including, of course, many motorcycle models. Only in 1985 it was decided to again use old forms and machines and create another 50 models, including the type indicated on this brand. The most famous postwar motor model Payá - the most popular postwar motor model is a stroller with a horn blowing on the horn.Like the rest of the European toy industry, Paya essentially shut down during WW II. Following the war, it struggled financially. In 1985, a decision was made to reissue the toys Paya made during the first half of the century using original tools, dies and molds. According to a present day Paya sales brochure, 2,000 different toys were made between 1906 and 1940.
