Beautifulantique eyeglass frames. Similar to the frames worn by Harold Lloyd. These are from the early 1900\'s and show some signs of use / wear and tear but would still make a great pair. This style of vintage eyeglass frames startedappearing sometime in the early 1900\'s. The European made frames were generallymade of real tortoiseshell while theAmerican made frames were made of Bakelite and other types of plastic. Thecolor usually was tortoise, black or a deep dark brown. They are loosely based on the Windsor style but with aheavier look due to their thicker frames. Made popular by the actor Harold Lloydwho wore them in his famous 1917 film Overthe fence and in every one of hisfilm\'s since. Some give him credit as being the first person to make itfashionable to wear eyeglasses. For some reason we don\'t see many of this stylearound today.
