Wonderful Period VICTORIAN 15K Yellow Gold & Ruby Pierced Earrings that are articulated with Ear Wires

featuring tiny twisted wire work and beading with bezel set 4.5mm Rubies

There is a lot of hand-work in these earrings, which was tedious and skilled jeweler work for the time. If you look very closely, you can see that tiny wires were twisted and placed within each section and finished with a hand-set bead

It is likely that the ear wires are replacements
