This pin is much older than the rest.. it is a Victorian period sterling fly or beetle pin with a largefaceted amethystpurplestone in the belly, real seed pearl accents and small red ruby? cabochon eyes. I believe the amethyst to be real, but it could be glass I have no way of telling. There is a lot of detail to the body and legs... all hand chased. The back has the old \"c\" clasp and a small loop at the head where it could be worn on a chain. There are no marks, but it is guaranteed to be sterling. Measures 1 1/2\" by 1 1/4\". Weight is 8.3 grams.You will love it!
