This Alexander baby is ready for Spring ~ she\'s dressed in an adorablevintage ( yellow )baby\'s outfit...she\'s sitting pretty, patientlywaiting for the Daffodils to pop up!! She measures about 23\" from top of head to her tippy toes. Her compo facehas all overcrazing.....very tiny craze lines ...kind of hard to see...so please supersize my photosso you can see all her detail. She has a minor scuff on the tip of her nose. Large brown sleep eyes...shiny and clear ..with all her lush brush eyelashes present!! I love babies with their eyelashes still intact ~~ and her eyes open/close easily. Pink cheeks and tiny coral rosebudmouth. Eyebrows and painted eyelashes are also present. Knees are blushed pink also...has sweet chubby baby thighs and large baby hands!! Crier is silent. All original paint and compo...no repaint or repairs that I notice. Hands and legs also have the customary crazing associated with many antique composition babies ....little webs of craze lines if you look really close.Her mohair wig has fading on the crown...see photos...not noticeable with her bonnet on. Baby\'s cloth body is firmly stuffed and has agediscolored to a dingy gray color. She is clean and sweet smelling however~ and from my nonsmoking home!!
She displays well andneeds a new home!! Sweet baby face with beautiful soulful eyes ~~ As with all my antique composition dolls, she\'s not perfectly pristine after all these years ...but still in what I consider to be a very good collectiblecondition ...for the non-discriminating dolllover/enthusiast ~~
