This beautiful large antique vase presents an impressive image. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or broken parts.
The handles on the vase have gold gilding. The vase is about 12\" high (11 1/2\" to be exact) and about 8\" wide from the outside edges of the handles.
The front of the vase is almost covered with a floral stencil. The back of the vase has a single rose.
The bottom of the vase is marked \"Habsbourg Ware Austria A. Stellmacher.\" The brown stamp on the bottom of the vase dates the vase to 1859 to 1897. Alfred Stellmacher was the father of Amphora, so this vase is pre-Amphora.The Amphora factory opened in 1892 with two former employees of A. Stellmacher and his son Eduard. Alfred Stellmacher\'s company was the Alfred Stellmacher Imperial and Royal Porcellain Manufactory, Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia (which was then part of the Austian-Hungarian empire.
