Antique Veuve Perrin VP French Hand Painted Faience Ceramic Charger Plate C.1900 Description: Antique Veuve Perrin VP French Hand Painted Faience Ceramic Charger Plate, 19th-Early 20th C. France. Of circular form, the charger decorated in colorful enamels with floral sprig border centering a landscape scene of peasant figures dancing while an old man looks on. The underside with enameled floral motif, blue \"VP\" mark (ascribed to Veuve Perrin) and impressed \"5H\".

Dimensions: 14.5\" diameter x 1.5\" deep.
Weight: 3.5 lbs. Condition: The charger is crazed; with some darkening to the glaze and speckled glaze imperfections to the surface (along with a few scratch-like marks which appear to be glaze imperfections). There are a number of light scratches/abrasions to the surface; with some rubbing/wear to the gilt rim and chips/losses to the enamel decoration along the floral pattern border. Overall, the piece is in good condition.
