This is a piece of history! Estimated to be from the Georgian or Edwardian era, this fede gimmel triple ring depicts two tiny hands clasping protectively together over two joined hearts. This set is actually three separate rings that fit together to make one wearable piece. It is very thin, delicately detailed, and in great antique condition. This ring has been beautifully hand engraved and the center ring band is notched like giving it a really appealing yet comfortable texture when worn. Unmarked yellow gold, this ring tests positive for 10 karat gold.

This lovely ring is about a size 7.5. Please make sure it will fit before you offer, as resizing would not work. You would lose the details that make this ring so special. It doesn\'t fit me, so here is your chance to grab a piece of wearable history!

This ring is in great condition, but it is very old so it does have signs of wear. As photographed, it has a few discolored areas from a possible repair. I find it amazing that this little ring has survived because it is very delicate feeling. It has been professionally cleaned and re-pinned by a skilled jeweler. It is dainty and fits tightly together to keep the hearts safe. It is actually rather hard to pull the hands apart to expose the hearts due to the tight fit.
