A stunning Victorian 12ct Gold Pink Tourmaline set ring, which dates to 1876 and is set with five graduated Pink Tourmaline gemstones. As you would expect with a ring of this quality, it is fully hallmarked confirming that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1876(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of theitem\'s description).
This wonderful antique ring has five beautifully colour matched Pink Tourmalines; the central gemstone, which is the largest, measures approx\' 4mm long by approx\' 3.5mm wide graduating down to the two smaller end stones that measure approx\' 3mm by 2mm.
Overall this stunning Victorian ring, which weighs 1.5 grams is in good condition; however one of the end Tourmalineshas suffered a significant chip(the stone on the left in the photo\'s) and although this is not immediately noticeable to the naked eye it is there. In addition the ring may have had a replacement shank historically, but as shown the hallmark is still crisp & clear, which is indicative of how little wear it has had.
