This sale is for a lovely antique 19th century handmade pure silk bobbin lace trim/flounce of the Victorian era. It is perfectly useable however there are a few areas where there are some thread breaks throughout the lace (about 7) and a 1.5\" tear as shown in photos, but this can be repaired with needle and thread....lace and embroidered portion is handmade and both are pure silk with silk-wrapped cotton corded threads.....very old and authentic of the era. Lovely to be used as a flounce for doll clothing.
This measures approximately 5\" across top edge - 25\" all around bottom edge. Note: Ifgathering is removed along top edge, this is how much lace there would be....
It is approximately 5.5\" in width from top edge to bottom edge of lace at widest point. There are some tiny jet glass beads along top edge, but not fully.
