This beautiful quilt measures 80\" x 48\" and is in nice antiquecondition. It has wonderful embroidery andbrierstitching over wonderfulVictorianprint and solid fabrics (velvet, suit, plaid, tweed, dress, satin, tapestry,etc). The quilt has a nice weight to it and has a heavy layer of batting. It\'s backed in flannel ticking and plaid, and there is a fade line in the backing fabric (as pictured). One of the taffeta pieces has worn away, and 2 other silk or taffeta squares have some wear or loss. There are some faint stains as it is an estate find and hasn\'t been laundered. In spite of any flaws, it displaysbeautifully.
