This is an exquisite antique Victorian circa 1890 Sterling Silver Scottish agate and 18.2ctw Cairngorm citrine brooch. The stones are orange jaspers from the Campsie Fells in Stirlingshire, and green speckled bloodstones from the Isle of Rum. The faceted stone is a stunning citrine from the Cairngorm mountain range that has been fully tested by my local jeweler and is a genuine citrine. The brooch has no sterling hallmark which is fairly normal for pieces of this period, but has been fully tested and is sterling silver. It is hallmarked Made Britain.

The brooch measures 1 3/4\". The C clasp and pin are in good working order and the brooch has its original safety clasp.

The brooch is in very good condition with a tiny chip on the citrine (mentioned for accuracy). Overall this is a superb agate and citrine brooch. Do enlarge the photos to see the details and condition of this lovely brooch! A stunning brooch to add to your special agate collection! Enjoy!
