Antique Victorian 1899 Solid Sterling Silver Pocket Watch Chain 51 grams

This one is a Victorian 1899 solid sterling silver Albert pocket watch Chain with solid graduated chunky curb links, a t-bar and a dog catch.

Each link of the chain is hallmarked with the little lion sterling mark.

The fully working dog catch is hallmarked for Birmingham for sterling silver for the year 1899. Maker’s mark is HA&S.

The t bar is silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1899. Maker’s mark is HA&S.

The middle link is stamped HA&S.

Weighs in at 51.3 grams approx.

Measurements: 12 inches long approx to the t-bar. The chain for your own fob measures 1 ½ inches long approx.

Condition: In good antique condition for its age with a pleasant tactile solidity that has only been enhanced by its velvety patina, alongside the touch of age that just can’t help but add a little more personality and character. It goes without saying the Dog catch is working fine.

Just a few light surface scratches …. only to be expected on a treasure of this age.
