This is a beautiful colorful antique lithograph print titled \"Partridge Shooting\" and marked:Copyright 1903 by McLoughlin Bros, Electro-Gravure. The markings on the bottom edge are difficult to see but are visible under bright light with a magnifying glass.Theprintis in the original Victorian wood and floral gesso frame with original finish in olive green and gold. The original glass is intact and quite wavy.
The print is in good condition with excellent color andno water damage, tears, or creases, but there are a few areas of surface wear on the blue sky area above the hunters. The wear looks like ink loss on the surface of the paper. The paper also has a few very slight ripples that are not very noticeable. There is some dusty residue on the inside surface of the glass that cold be cleaned by removing the print.
The frame also looks good and has fantastic art nouveaustylefloral details all the way around. There are a few chipped areas in the gesso, mainly on the corners, that have been touched up with matching paint. There is a shallow chip in the wood on the upper right corner. The top two frame corners have a slight gap toward the inside edge, but it still feels sturdy and solid; nothing is loose. There is a wooden back paneland someone has added a piece of cardboard over the top half of the wood for some reason. I haven\'t removed the cardboard and will sell it as-found. The nails holding the back panels in place stick out a little from the back of the frame, especially around the cardboard because it is so thick.
The outer dimensions of the frame are 27\" x 23\" and the print measures 20\" x 16\". It will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
