I have for sale the pictured 9K solidyellowgold Victorianeraring.Flat top oval head. A lovely micro mosaic design of inlaid slicedglassinto a oval goldstone measuring approx 13.5mm x 8.5mm. The design technique mimics the earlier 16th and 17th century pietraduratechnique of using larger sliced \"stones\" to create an image.

This is a very dainty ring and would ideally be worn on the pinky. The goldstone foundation does have (and shows)wear and tear as visible in the photographs.Without reworking the entire band, I am not sure how large a skilled jeweler could enlarge the band size of this ring so please consult with your local jewelbefore you purchase this item if you are planning to resize it.Gold framework of this ring does show a collection of light scratches consistent with an antique piece of jewelry that was worn and enjoyed. Please do review all of the photographs as they are of the actual item you are buying.

Weight: Approx 3.58 grams all inclusive weight
Hallmarks: None - Tests as 9K. Based upon the size, I will venture at some point any hallmarking was cut out of the band to reduce the overall size.
Main Stone: (All glass) Goldstone with Mosaic design of an Italian landmark - unknown landmark - having some tiny gaps that are either missing very tiny slices of glass or missing fill. Design is consistent with early pieces of the romaticperiod with the larger sliced glass inlay, but the piece cannot be dated,so may be late 19th century moving it into the aesthetic period given its more petite design.

Ring Dimensions: The head of the ring is 15.99mm deep, 11.14mm wide and has a rise of 5.74mm
Shank Size at sizing Area: 1.92mm deep and 1.10mm thick
Notable: Hand worked ring. Italian origin. Rare to find the rings mounted in Karat gold. Even more rare to find Victorian era piece that do not depict floral scenes.

All of my gold and silver is 3rd party authenticated before listing for sale. This piece has been xray analyzed to ensure the metal makeup meets industry standards for solid gold jewelry. Where appropriate, acid testing has been used as well.

Gemstones have been tested using a presidium gem tester and have not been reviewed, except where noted, by a gemologist so please assume they are lab produced stones. Diamonds have been verified using a presidium diamond tester, they have not been sized orgraded by a gemologist. All measurements of stones have been done using a digital caliper,are approximate and may not be exact.
