This listing is for an Antique Victorian 9K Gold AQUAMARINE Solitaire STICKPIN.

This item was recentlypurchased from an estate.

SPECIFICATIONS:

This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report.

Material: Aquamarine Stone, Low Karat Gold (About 9K gold in purity)-and there also appears to be a higher karat gold layer over the 9K gold on the top ofthe stickpin -see images.

*the clutch that goes over the point of the pin is NOT gold -it is base metal.

Signed: No marks that Ican find.

Themetal has beentested and it tests to be Gold (a low karatgold -about 9K gold in purity).

Dimensions: The top of this stickpinmeasures about 5/8\" x 3/8\" or so atthe largestpoints.

Measuring from the top of this pin tothepoint on the bottom, this item is about 3\" or so long.

Gemstones: This item is detailed with an Emerald Cut Aquamarine Gemstone.

This stone measures about 13.8mm x 8.3mm and is about 5.6mm or so \'thick\' -making it about a 4.6carat stone.

This is a very pale light Aquamarine blue stone.

Monograms: None

Weight: 3 grams (this does NOT include the clutch that goes over the point of the pin that is NOT gold.

Condition: This item is in decent estate condition with some signs of age/wear and use.

The Aquamarine stone is a very pale Aquamarine blue color -see images.

This stone has several inclusions, Visible Feathers etc. and there is a chip at a prong on the side of the stone -see images. This stone also has a few small scratches/scuffs, fleabites, nicks, wear and imperfections in some areas.

The gold tests to be a Low karat gold (about 9K) -there also appears to be a higher karat gold layer over the 9K gold on the top of the stickpin.

This higher karat gold layer is worn through in several areas -see close images.

The gold on this item has some dings, dimples, nicks, scratches/scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas.

The gold has some patina, tarnish and discoloration and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in some areas (if desired).

The clutch that goes over the point on the pin is NOT gold -it is base metal.

All in all, I would have to say that this item is in decent estate condition, showing some signs of age/wear and use.
