Antique Victorian Art Nouveau Chatelaine Floral Mirror Lid Mesh Chain Mail Purse Diameter 2 1/4\" Length approx 3 1/2\" may have been gold tone over Bronze now mostly bronze also may have had a tassel at some point. Fine chain mail mesh some holes where the mesh just came apart. Has a fabulous little mirror inside lid interesting motif design on top guessing 1920\'s maybe earlier.Chatelaine clasp and part of the chain fob on top.Where I got it I was told that it was used to carry gold coins back in it\'s day.
