Antique Victorian/Edwardian Art Nouveau rolled gold brooch set with a large, faceted amethyst colored stone, presumably glass.

Approximately 1.5 inches diameter. Secure \"C\" clasp and safety chain for added security. Weighs 21.8 grams.

This is a beautiful,striking brooch with a free flowing border typical of the era. Ithas a lovely chunky feel to it.

This is a genuine antique so it does have minorwear. There is a very small slit at the edge of the outer band. It looks like the brooch may have been made that way but I\'m not sure, so just pointing it out. (Please see the last couple of photos.)
