Item: We have this lovely women\'s black Jacket or Coat!We are not clothing experts but believe the piece to possibly be from the Victorian period (possibly French made?). The jacket has a corset fit (the inside layer have clasp that make it a slim fit, and it narrows at the waist). There is a darker black raised floral pattern (velvet) on the jacket. A beautiful jacket to wear or display! Please Note: in the closeup photos the flash has made the color look uneven. It is not. The jacket is black, with slightly darker flowers. If any information comes in we will post it below. We are unsure the exact value of the piece, but would be happy to entertain any lower offers with any helpful information as to why. Size and Makeup: Jacket: 19” (from top of shoulder to the bottom of coat). 12” (across the chest). 22” (from top of shoulder to the bottom of the sleeve), and the waist is about 11”. Made of velvet and other material (we believe).
Condition: The jacket has some splitting in both armpits, but looks like someone tried to repair it (not overly noticeable). But otherwise a nice looking jacket! No other rips or tears!
