A pair of beautifully cast antique late 19th or early 20th century girandoles, in a deep Gold brass with glass cut crystal prisms on front side, Back side prisms are missing. Prisms are not original but are very old. Each Girandole has a central motif of a little girl, attending to her pet goat and dog, with a stylized tree frame, the bobeches surrounded by a band of flowers and kissing birds. Each on a white marble base. Both bases have small nicks, marble bases look good as they are but could easily be repolished to remove most of the small nicks / chips. Brass Girandoles are very ornate and have some old polishing compound / corrosion and patina in hard to get ereas. Brass bobeches / candle holder can be removed by simply unscrewing each one, the flowered band can be removed as well on each, one of the wings have been bent on the kissing bird and has small crack, still solid and intack. Marble base can be removed on one, the other nut is stuck, we will remove all parts for shipping and carefully individually wrap each piece with paper and bubble wrap, Insurance and signed confirmation are included. Measure approx. 16 1/4\" Tall x 17\" x 4\" deep base, Girandoles are very thin. This sale is for 2 brass Girandoles only with partial prisms. Back side prisms missing.
