PLEASE NOTE: The photos of the hanging lamp do not show the shade ring, it is with this lamp, I just failed to place it when the photos were taken. Please look at the second photo, it shows the shade ring and it matches. Sorry for the confusion.....Beautiful Victorian Solid Brass Hanging Parlor Oil Lamp with hand painted shade and font in a lovely light green color with painted roses. Maker unknown. Complete assembly including Ceiling cap with intact pulley system, chain w/medallion links, smoke bell, shade and font frame, 14\" shade and font, 10\" chimney and including 42 crystal prisms. The font has been converted to electric. This has been packed away since 1982. I did no cleaning whatsoever of the brass and it still has a gleam. The shade and font are hand painted and have no chips, nicks or cracks. There is a area of discoloration on the backside of the shade. This lamp has a very ornate and intricate frame and is all original to the best of my knowledge. There are 42 crystal prisms, I only put a few on it for photos so as not to damage them. There are some prisms with chipping as is common with them and they do not appear completely uniform. The prisms hang from the centering ring as well as the shade frame. I am packing the shade separately from the lamp frame so this will be packed in 2 boxes and shipped insured.Please look at my photos as they constitute part of the description.
