Lovely carved Mother Of Pearl Victorian horseshoe pendant. Simply carved with nice detail and texture. Whatever hung from the bottom holes is no longer. The sides are grooved and one side is thicker than the other. I am not sure why, or its particular use. Very nice noticeable size. I have not cleaned this. It does need a light cleaning. Has two tiny chips that cannot be seen unless right under the eye or turned around to the backside. One is around a circle and the other on the other curve leading upward from a hole. See images. There is some wear to the gold filled hardware. Measures shy of 2\" with the bale and is a bit over 1\" at center.
