I have a small collection of antique Czech \"egg\" decanter sets that I am selling due to downsizing to a smaller house. In my many years of dealing in antiques I have seen very few of these, so I would collect them in any condition. Even if you do a search on , you will find just a few of these Victorian gems. I will combine shipping charges if you want to buy more than one. This one is still referred to as an egg, despite the different shape and having a pedestal base. The orange/coral color is applied on the inside of the glass and the outside is both hand painted and decorated with applied tiny glass beads. There is obvious wear to the decoration, not bad on the bottom half, but especially to the painted figure of the woman on the top part. I thought it would be neat to glue a fan or a bit of dried greenery so it would look like her figure is hiding behind something. Or, of course, a figure could be repainted, but that was beyond my capabilities. There is also a little wear to the background orange paint.The cordial set is complete, which is hard to find, plus the little decanter has a pattern to the top half, making it more unique. The decanter has an embossed \"Made in Czechoslovakia\" on the bottom. One of the glasses also retains a label on the bottom. Only one of the glasses has a chip. Total height is 10\".
