Incredibly detailed and ornate antique doll dress, originally found with a 35-35.5” Simon & Halbig doll (sold now, not available). The top head area circumference was 4”, and the hat was a perfect fit on this doll. The hat has a 7.5” diameter opening. Moving on to the dress, it measures approx. 22 inches from top to bottom, and 8” from one top arm/shoulder stitch to the other. Also included are undergarments and a pair of shoes & socks. The shoes measure 5.5” long. Please note the stand shown is for display purposes only and is not included.
The dress is incredibly well preserved. We have made no attempt to clean or restore it, so some very light soiling and dust may be present. No obvious stains or damage was detected. The dress and hat are not dusty, and the ostrich feathers are nicely kept. There does not appear to be any sign of custom hemming or stitch-work, and no patches or odd stitches were found on the inner parts of the dress. Due to the lighting conditions and the reflective nature of the embroidery, the color might appear dull or varied, but in truth there is no color fading. If you are looking for a premium piece of collectible antique doll clothing, than look no farther. Certainly, you will not find another like this.
