From a French Estate where I purchased several one of a kind lace items. This French bobbin Mechlin Lace Jobot/Collar is the most unique you may ever see. Rings of round lace pearls encircle small rounds of bobbin lace. The collar is done with Four rows of these lace rounds, one on top of the other. The jabot is more of the same flowing lace set on a net. Lace around the jabot net and also set into the middle of the net. Rosette at the top. Done in white. There is a snap sewn onto one end of the collar but not on the other end. I touched one side of the jabot with the iron so that you can see how it will lay. May have some loose or broken threads. I would consider it in excellent antique condition.
