An adorably charming ring from the Victorian/Edwardian era, thispiece is full of satisfying round shapes, for a final design that resembles aflower. Natural turquoise and seed pearls create a pretty contrast both incolor and tone, with the bright opaque turquoise offset against the creamier, iridescentquality of the seed pearls. The seed pearls form a halo around the centraldomed turquoise, which shifts slightly in hue, each stone ringed with a thinband of solid 18-karat gold for definition and secure setting. The smooth,simple band is also gold. Overall, this ring, though it has a very delicatelook and feel around your finger, is quite sturdily constructed.
