Up for sale is this vintage pair of Victorian era eyeglasses. The glasses have a rolled gold frame, with temples\' which end in a spade. There is no makers mark. One of the temple\'s is marked 18. The lenses are oval, and measure 34mm wide, 25mm top to bottom. Frame width between the temples is 4-1/8\" The temple length is 5\". These come in a Franklin & Co., case. Franklin & Co. is known Washington D,C. Optician, and is known to have made eyeglasses for several Presidents, including Lincoln, Grant, and Teddy Roosevelt.
