Absolutely stunning and rare Victorian Bohemian garnet encrusted locket.
Hundreds of Bohemain rose cut garnets set into low carat rose gold.
(The actual garnet front of the locket is set into silver gilt whereas the rest of the locket is low carat rose gold on white metal).
Oval bevelled glass on the reverse.
In excellent antique condition apart from perhaps one or two of the tiny stones being later replacements.
Height of locket with garnet encrusted loop is circa 5.8cm.
Size of locket only is circa 4cm xx 3.5cm.
Opens and closes securely.
