This sale is for an Antique 1880\'s Victorian French Papier Mache Lap Desk. It measures 11\" x 9\" x 3.5\". It is hand painted and inlaid with Mother of Pearl. Greek key design along edge. Some minor wear to original paint and a small piece or two of inlay missing. Newer leather or leatherette writing surface inside. It has compartments, lift up pen tray, and glass ink well. Old pinned repair to hinges, a couple chips to edge and one corner. Lock missing inside. It has its front escutcheon plate. Fine detail to painting.
