Absolutely amazing antique Victorian fur! In excellent and wearable condition with no musty odors or deterioration shedding. Has all of its original large metal hook and eyes. The tassel and toggle macrame is beautiful and is solid with some age showing (see images). The toggle is also stable, as it does not just slide around. You will not have to worry about losing it easily. The lining is in good condition with no major tears. There are separations due to age, and some lose threads. All are mendable. There are also few small spots on the material.
Wonderful for display, study and absolutely wearable! Measurements are as follows: Center front approx. 22.5\" long. Center back approx. 7\". Front panels are approx. 5\" in width each. Both tassel appliqués are approx. 7.25\" at longest and approx. 2.75\" wide. The front toggle and tassel cords are approx. 27\" in length. The last 4 images are taken at night with a small work light to show how well it translates in low light (if out on the town).
