Her head and shoulder plate is a a bisque material. Unfortunately, she has a hairline crack in the shoulder plate. This should be visible in a couple of the photos. On the back, where you will see the hairline crack, also embossed/imprinted is \'1894\'. There\'s also some other markings but it\'s hard to tell exactly. I think, I am not sure, but, I think she might be an Armand Marseille Doll from Germany?. She has the leather surface type body that bends at the knees. One of her arms has detached and will need to be put back on. Also, her thumb is chipped off on the hand of the detached arm and the other hand has a couple of the fingers chipped off at the ends as well. I am not sure if this is visible in some of the photos ? Her dress has spotting, staining and discolorations and some yellowing, I assume from age. I also noticed a small hole in her dress. The small hole is about the size of the tip of a ball point pen. She has so much character and history about her. She is very old, but in my eyes, still very beautiful. Just needs a little bit of TLC. It looks like something was put into the hairline crack place to keep it from coming apart ? She measures approximately 22 inches tall.
