Description:

A Victorian gilt wood fireplace pole screen with needlepoint (petitpoint ?) panel, circa 1850. The needlepoint is in very good condition. There is just one minor imperfection as seen in the photo close-up. The screen is 55\" high and the needlepoint panel is approx. 17\" square. The red silk on the back is starting to shred/shatter. The panel adjusts up and down the pole just fine. Guaranteed to be as described.
