Gorgeous gold filled Victorian Day to Night bangle bracelet is rife with elegant details! Sumptuous engraving wraps entirely around the bracelet, however, each is completely different, allowing for a light floral profile for days and an elegantly classic silhouette for evening wear. The entire background has been stippled, giving the bracelet texture...an expensive piece from the amount of workmanship it contains. A double pressure clasp keeps the bracelet secure, as well as the original safety chain. These beauties are becoming unusually rare, with masses of them that have gone the way of gold smelters by those not caring about the history they represent. These bracelets were often given during momentous occasions in a woman\'s life...her betrothal, wedding, the birth of a child. These were often the finest piece of jewelry they owned beyond their wedding rings.

Measurements: The bracelet is 1/2\" wide, opens very wide and has an interior circumference of 7\"Condition: In very good vintage condition with a small amount of wear to the gold fill on the very edges. This can be seen plainly from the overhead photo. Otherwise, the gold fill is bright and complete...only tiny fine scratches attest to the gentlest of wear. No verdigris, dings, dents or pings. The closure works exactly as it should.Hallmarks: None Found - possibly an old Bates & Bacon or Krementz bracelet, based on the clasp design.Circa: 1900 - Late Victorian Era
