This listing is for a pair of Antique Early Sunglasses that have Green Glass Lens\'.
These glasses are NOT Magnifying.
These Frames are made from Steel.
These eyeglasses have TURN PIN Temple Pieces (each temple piece is made from 2 pieces of metal that is joined with a rivet that can rotate the end of the temple piece around -see images) -The bridge is a \'Crank Bridge\' style.
This style of eyeglasses was made between c1760\'s-c1880 or so. I would date this pair of glasses to be from the mid 1800\'s or so .this item was recently purchased from an estate.
SPECIFICATIONS:

Material: Steel, Glass
Signed: no marks that I can find.
Dimensions: These eyeglasses measure about 4 3/4\" from the outside of one hinge to the outside of the other (measuring across both lens\' across the front of these eyeglasses).
Each lens measures about 1 1/4\" x 7/8\" (Measuring JUST The Glass lens\' -NOT including the frame around the glass.Each bow measures about 6 3/8\" from the hinge to the very end of the bow piece. -
From the hinge near the lens\' to the turn pin on the bow, it is about 4 1/2\" or so

Condition:
the glass lens\' have several scratches, small fleabites, nicks, tiny flakes, scuffs/wear and imperfections in some areas -please see images. -some of the scratches are a bit deep -and there are scuffs, wear etc. on the glass -see images.
The glass does not fit perfectly in the frames (there are some gaps at the edges in some areas )-see images.
the frames might have been \'blued\' Steel originally , though nearly all of the \'bluing\' is worn away - -see images.
The steel has some dings, nicks, dimples, bends, wear and imperfections in some areas.
there is quite a bit of rust, pitting, and wear etc. on the steel as well -see images.
the frames have discoloration, patina, tarnish and imperfections etc.
