A fabulous estate Victorian Era Hand Woven Straw Purse. Measures 6\" wide x 7\" long. The braided straw handle is 4 1/2\" long. This is in pristine, perfect condition. Natural dyed straw is beautifully woven. Inside is a pink silk and beige back is a soft wool cashmere. No stains or signs of use. Was found boxed in the bottom of a antique cedar chest. It really has not seen the light of day. I saw a girls bonnet a white back that was nearly identical. It had a \"France\" cloth label in it. I would guess this is French made also. If you want the best, this is the piece for you.
