Item up for sale is a very unique and beautiful antique mixed media Irish painting. Features Erin Go Bragh across the top which means \"Ireland Forever\" in Gaelic/Native Irish. Dated on the lower portion of the painting in the right hand corner Xmas 1894. We are unsure of the media used to make this beautiful piece of artwork as we have not taken it out of the frame. With a flashlight, it looks like the building in the center may have been made from paper mache, but we are unsure. The flowers, stems and birds look to be painted with oil. The painting was executed on fabric, which you can see edges of on the reverse of the frame. The fabric feels like silk, or possibly satin. Framed in a simple gold colored frame. Frame measures 25\" wide by 36\" tall. A truly rare and spectacular piece of Celtic Victorian folk art, celebrating the Irish Christmas tradition. Perfect for the hard to buy for Irishman, Christmas collector or decorator with a keen eye for the obscure. A truly rare piece of history. Condition Report:
Glass is a little loose and will need a sturdy backing material.
