Antique 1870\'s period piece.Antique Victorian Royal Stagecoach Wagon
Large horse drawn display model carriage coach,
circa 1870\'s.This sale is for a delightfully large 41 inch display antique Victorian period Royal Stagecoach model. It isextremely well made & is a scaled down version which could possibly have be a salesman sample. Wonderful hand made model with a wood construction passenger carriage in original black textured painted condition & mounted to a wrought iron worked chassis. Fully functional front horse rig, turning front axle & all four spoke wheels & hubs turn smoothly. The carriage sits on a four point, hung leaf suspension system. Both carriage doors open on pin hinges & are each stamp decorated with a gold Royal crest motif. Up front drivers seat & two internal passenger seats, This piece has come direct from a recent house clearance & is sold in un-touch as found antique condition with a lovely aged patina. Minor related surface scuffs & light dinks but over all in fabulous display antique condition. It\'s style & design is typical of it\'s Victorian period & would date nicely to the circa 1870\'s.Approx size :
41\" long with rig in down position
13\" tall (high)
9\" deep wheel hub to wheel
