Welcome to my sale! You are offerding for a beautiful and rare Antique Victorian Lava cameo brooch carved in high relief in a lovely 10K rose gold hand crafted frame. The cameo is oval in shape and measures approx. 2\" high x 1 7/8\" in width. The gold frame is bent and slightly separating at the top of the cameo. The clasp wire is slightly bent. This mythical & beautiful Bacchante has among her curls, grapes and leaves intricately carved in raised relief. Notwithstanding the wear issues mentioned and shown, she is in very good condition. There are no marks on the frame but it tests to be at least 10K gold in purity. This gorgeous cameo brooch probably dates to the mid Victorian era. It is a rare and lovely collector\'s treasure!
