This is a great antique Victorian gold filled locket. It is in excellent condition. The front is covered in numerous rhinestones, some bright and some darker and one is missing. The back is without dings or dents and has a nice fancy monogram. This locket is slightly bigger than many Victorian heart shaped lockets measuring aprox 1&1/4 inch X 1 & 1/8 inch. There is no loss of gold that I found although I am sure there are some superficial scratches as there is on most things this old. The opening notches workwell to help open this locket and the hinge is in great shape and the locket snaps shut securely also. Inside are 2 old pictures from the Victorian era perhaps man and wife, very nice.
