Incredible workmanship on this victorian mourning hair wreath. This wonderful hair piece shows very intricate and precise work on various shades of brunette, brown and blonde hair. Beadwork and pearls accents the work. The oval frames measures 16\" x !5\". The frame no longer has the convex glass. It had been replaced some time ago with thick heavy plastic to protect it. (The glare shows up on the plastic). I took pictures inside with a flash and also took some pictures outside. Also, I want to mention the frame does have a crack on the side and a 1\" long x 1/4\" wide flake/chip on the bottom on the edge. This pretty hair wreath looks like it would be easy to remount on another frame of one\'s choice. All in all, it is a very nice piece of workmanship of yesteryear.
