Thisis quite a lovely Victorian(c. 1860-1880) rolled goldpin. It has a pieceof salmon coloredbranch coral* wound with gold wire andlayered with a rose and gold tone shaded leaf. The lower half ofthe ovalis hand engraved. It is classically Victorian and delicately beautiful.

SIZE~ This brooch measures 1\" wide x 7/8\" tall. It has a \"C\" clasp.

CONDITION~ This brooch is in Excellent Vintage Condition!The coral is intact. There is no wear to thegold tone metal. There are no repairs or alterations.Pre-loved and ready to wear!

*Interestingly, Victorians held the belief that coral had curative and protective powers. Christie Romero\'s Warman\'s Jewelry, 3rd ed. is a wonderful resource for jewelry collectors of this era.
