Antique Victorian Oak Art Nouveau Sheet Music Cabinet Open Front Mirror Back. Overall it measures 20 1/4\" wide, 13 3/4\" deep and 40 3/4\" tall. There are 2 shelves and a base for 3 compartments. There was originally another shelf which was removed long ago as the previous owner need 1 spot with larger space but could easily be converted back to 3 shelves if desired. This is the classic 1880 era Victorian style with open front that would have used a curtain - there is still attached 2 small brass hooks to hold a curtain rod in place. This never had a front door, it was made exactly the way you see it. Magnificent true Art Nouveau style with fancy turned carved finials and serpentine backsplash. I love the original mirror back at the center near the top with the old beveled mirror glass. Just some minor normal corner and edge wear - fine clean solid condition and very sturdy. Guaranteed a genuine late 19th century oak cabinet. Made originally to hold sheet music but has myriad uses nowadays, would look great and be quite useful in kitchen, bathroom or living room. Also fine for home office storage file.
