Lovely Victorian sterling silver bangle. Unusual design of a shirt cuff. Very ornate with ivy leaves, lines and an ornate monogram on the bottom/underside. No makers marks.In overall good condition for age. Shows some light scratches and scuffs. Could possibly buffed out. I do not have the tools to do it. There is a small open dot in the design where a button would be placed on a real shirt cuff. I am not sure if something originally was attached.There are small dents on the sides and underside from age/wear. In the hinge area most notably and has a slight space at one part of the hinge. Part of the lines in the cuff design isn\'t flush with the continual line. Not sure if this was a manufacturing issue, as it definitely would take much force to move the metal (lines are smooth-there are no tears or seperations at this point). See images for all issues noted. Clasp is nice and strong. No catch chain. Beautiful piece for its age!. Measures shy of 1\" wide. Measures 2.5\" x shy 2.5\". Max wrist 7\"
This will need a cleaning, as there is some patina and some on the inside. I did polish it some with a cloth. It has been stored for quite some time.
