Wonderful antique Victorian six sided sewing pin cushion, which has been hand stitched, using various coloured and patterned silks (probably a dress off cuts) mounted on card, with red velvet pincushion to the top. Between each of the sixe "sides" various wooden cotton reels have been places.

Mid 19th century, circa 1870\'s
SIZE
The pin cushion measures 8cm (3") high and 15cm (5½") in diameter.
CONDITION
The pin cushion is in a very good condition for age, with no damage to the silk, velvet or reels, although one of the thread reels have been used. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
