Clasp works great. no damage to binding or any other parts, however..... the ALBUM cover is on the back and the back plain red velvet cover is the front. Photos are so cool and vintage. There are 32, 4X6\" cabinet photo slots with 2 empty. And 16, 2X3\"smaller framed photos slots in last pages with 3 empty. Children photos are excellent condition and so cool. Too many to post pictures of. Very vintage and a part of Civil War era history. Clasp is stamped Pat. 1882. TOTAL SIZE IS 10 1/2\" X 8 1/2\".
