Antique Victorian Portieux VALLERYSTHAL French BLUE MILK GLASS Vases ROSES LEAFWow! This is pair of antique Victorian Portieux VALLERYSTHAL French blue milk glassvases dating c1900. This lovely pair of mantel vases have a wonderful bowl with a raised or repousse design of leaves and roses with a dental molding style band which rises to an acanthus leaf pattern and the a beautifully ruffled top. There appears to have been a metallic silvered rim which has all but worn away to leave only a few marks of it\'s very existence. They each have a rough pontil. Each vase is in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or repairs. Very rare to find the pair! Wonderful opaline blue in the faintest pale teal blue! A unique color that is just fantastic in any Victorian or modern home or chic or shabby decorated home!
