You are offerding on a beautiful and interesting old original Bronze wall plaque, intricately decorated. This bronze relief is a very detailed cast which is typical for the time periodand retains its original brownpatinaand mounting hardware. Plaque is not signed or dated.The plaque illustrates the Biblical story of Adam and Eve\'s fall from grace as written in John Milton\'s 1667 epic poem \'Paradise lost\'.This superb scene depicts a winged Archangel Raphael appearing to Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
The bronze is clearly a magnificent original period piece of Religious History with exquisite detail and design. This is unquestionably a rare and interesting find and a gorgeous period piece.
