This is a very old (late 1800\'s) chromolithograph print of Sir Henry Raeburn\'s boy and rabbit painting in an original period frame with original glass that is quite wavy. The print is a high quality print on heavy paper with a canvas-like texture. It has a fantastic rich, dark aged appearance, like that of an antique oil painting. The paper has some damage; the lower right corner is torn, there arefour other small tears that are less obvious, and one tiny pinpoint sized hole. There is some loose dusty residue on the inside surface of the glass. The frame has a few small chips and some repairs to the gesso, but the entire frame has been re-finished, and the repairs are not extremely obvious. There are some hairline cracks in the gesso still, very typical for it\'s age, but nothing is loose. The paper backing is no longer intact, but there is a hanging wire on the back. The outer measurements of the frame are 21\" W x 25\" H and the print measures about 16 1/2\" x 20 1/2\". It will be packed very well, double boxed, and insured during shipping.
