~ Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 2\" Oval Scottish Agate Brooch Pin ~

Scottish brooch made with 8stone segments in the shape of flower petals backed with a single piece of slate and set in an oval Sterling Silver setting with a silver circle in the center; note the perfectly flush setting. The highqualitypolishedagate makea stunning color combination.It closes with a long hinged pin andc clasp. The silver has a wonderful aged patina. There is a hairline crack and afew tinychips on the jasper sectionsnear the center, and a hairline crack on one of the lighter sections; its very hard to seethese without a loupe; you can see the flaws in the first picture when you magnify it. Overall it is in excellent condition. Please see the pictures for more details.
